- On January 12, 2006, the Phnom Penh municipality has leased 99 year investment of Koh Pich to Overseas Cambodian Investment Campany (OCIC), a parent company of Canadia Bank.
- According to Mr, Touch Sam Nang, the architect for the project, he descripbed that “we will contruct cultural and tourism areas, a hospital, a shopping mall, villas, flats, hotels, schools, offices and a 222-meter high tower from which everybody will be able to see the whole of Phnom Penh (Source: Xinhua).
