- Koh Pich island was the long conrtoversial areas between municipality authorithy and residents,307 households, who was land owners living on their land. Now, controversial island will be built satellite city opposite NagaCorp Casino.
- On January 12, 2006, the Phnom Penh municipality has leased 99 year investment of Koh Pich to Overseas Cambodian Investment Campany (OCIC), a parent company of Canadia Bank.
- According to Mr, Touch Sam Nang, the architect for the project, he descripbed that “we will contruct cultural and tourism areas, a hospital, a shopping mall, villas, flats, hotels, schools, offices and a 222-meter high tower from which everybody will be able to see the whole of Phnom Penh (Source: Xinhua).
