Traditional chinese new year food
During celebration of chinese new year, chinese, and Cambodian-chinese people always prepare more food for being consumed to celebrate new year than any time of year. At the time, I quote some foods to be represented in the celebration of new year including:
- A whole fish represents togetherness and abundance
- A chicken (includes head, tail and feet) represents prosperity
- Noodle (should not be cut) represents longevity.
