I’ve missed the big holiday in Cambodia for more than 5 years :-(
Nevertheless, we’re now busy with preparing for the annual party here as well.
Thanks for the useful info relating to our New Year :)

Same here! We are getting ready to partei here in the States as well. This is like our busiest time of the year, for me for example, I have Khmer New Year show to go to this Saturday and dance, another dance Monday night, a gathering at my house on Friday night, and a temple visit on Saturday. man, it’s gonna be fun fun fun. Happy New Year to all!

Happy New Year to all! In this golden occassion, I will all of you good health and happiness in the whole year and coming year.

Before Khmer New year comes at least 2 weeks or more, Cambodian people, especially young people, always gather at night for playing traditional game such as dancing, playing AngKung, and so on in their villages and every where in Cambodia.

For me, I always have been standing to see the garment workers playing and dancing every night near my hourse in Phnom Penh.

At the mean times, I used to see those people requently fighting each other because of a small problem such as stepping on their feet…etc. These disputes that I saw just have happend in the last decade. So I am afraid of this. And thatis the bad habit for the young people.
