Young girl and Accident
Every morning, I always leave my house at around 7:00 am for my workplace. This morning around 7:00, 19 May 2006, I reached the point of accident in front of Mong Deyal along Moa Sengtong Boulevard. At the time I saw young girl riding bike and falling instantly to the ground about 50 meters from me because a man drove motocycle and hitted slightly her bicycle. The man did not stop seeing and helping her. He went away. Her bycicle falled over her body and people was on this street stopping around and seeing her sleeping on the street, no one helped lifting her up.
When I went toward near her and I saw her trying to stand up by herself. I stopped my transportation and helped picking her bike up. She just smilled at me and I asked her that “Are you alright”. She just only shaked her head to me. And said nothing. And then I drove my motocycle away towards my workplace.

So generous ,man!!!!keep this attitude forever!!i also did like this if i were u…
This reminds me of an accident when I was in Phnom Penh.
Once in the mid-day, I was ridding from private class, there was a girl who was leaving University of Medicine for home as me. We were in opposit direction. As trying to cross the road, she clashed with a man, leaving a big cut over her left eye. She didn’t realised the injury. The man had a cut on his feet, I thought it was slighter. I decided to help the girl. Soon after I told she had a cut over her eye, she looked into the motobike’s mirror and body started to tremble — she seemed to have big shock with the injury.
I asked her to temporarily leave her motobike at the university, and I was to take her to the nearby Calmette hospital.
At the hospital, as a doctor operated the cut, she holded my hand with full of fear. 10$ for the operation I paid for her. I then took her home. On the way home, we happily chatted as if we’ve known each other for long. Arriving at her house, her mother came out with a bit wonder on her face. The mother ran into the house, bringing back a glass of water for me. I told her about what had just been going on with her daughter. She(the mother) looked at her daughter’s wound for a while. She repeatedly said “thank you” to me, and paid me back the 10$.
I left the house with broad smile on smile face and in my heart, as I’d done a meaningful job on that day.
hahaha you guys are such generous men! hahahaha.. hey i saw my uncle in one of you pictures! hhahahaha….that’s funny!…
I know… I know… No wonder that Wanna would help the girl
Wanna, when i read your story, it is like accident my uncle’s accident. He had accident when he drove motorcycle by himeself. a man, studying in medicine school, hospitalized him and then he asked my uncle phone number and he called my relative to tell about my uncle’s accident at midnight. He was very generous. The next morning, he visted my uncle again and then I reconized him because he used to learn Japanese language with me. Until now, one side of my uncle’s body is dead and he cannot walk anymore. However, we tried to bring him to medical treatement, his illness is not recovery.
Accident always happends by chance, so that we should drive carefully. Enven me, I am so afraid of driving because young boys drive motorcycle or car fast without taking care of accident or other travellers.
My youngest brother had accident at night and he had blood in his brain. He had his head operated. I did know his accident. When he had accident i was fliying to India. When I arrived in Cambodia, my sister told me that our brother was staying in hospital and then I felt sad about this. Luckily, after operating, his health was well.
