Recently, Phnom Penh municipality has banned on “Tuk-tuk†drivers displaying commercial advertising to preserve public order and the beauty of the capital. On the contrary, there are many cigarette and beer bill board posted along street in capital. Look at the bill Board of Leo Beer posted near Cambodian-Japanese Bridge (Chroy Chang Va Bridge). The message bearing on the board said “Keep Good Memories.†I don’t understand its meaning. Normally, if we drink so much, we will loose control.

And perhaps I am hated. Because in a group, most people drink wine or beer, but except for me.
Just kidding, It’s up to the situation.

I’m not an avid drinker, but I do drink occasinally during social events and holidays.
This advertising, just like any other advert, tries to portray alcohol as fun, exhilarting, and sociable. Television commercial is even worse. There is almost always some dressed clad model holding a beer.

Soft drinks, Beer, Wine, and other junk foods are considered to have a negative effect on human body and live. Though, it doesn’t mean they all are very bad. What it means, adult should understand their limit.
In regards to this Ads, a content of the ads should be properly checked and monitored by relevant authorities. It should not convey the wrong message to public or be far from its nature.
One of the comment ingorant issues by authority is evident in Vutha’s comment.
By far, there seems no study to suggest that at any level of alcohol consumed would make a drinker reamains conscious. In other words, the more the drinker consumes achohol, the more the drinker easily get drunk. Therefore, their consciousness and manner could be loss.
