In fact, I think being a research scientist requires more intuition, knowledge, and skills than an ordinary doctor. Tell your parents that a research scientist has as much prestige as doctor. If you do well in college, you have the option to persue your education in any other place around the world. Scientist are highly prized, especially in the U.S.. However, after finishing your study, I hope you will return to help Cambodia.
