Number of domestic tourists from different provinces and districts visited natural Resort-Kampi- during Khmer New Year, and increased dramatically as compared with last year in the same period according to tourists.
Kampi is great natural resort located on the Mekong River about 16 Km east of Kratie province town traveling along the National Road No.7. When we reached a bridge “Prek Kampiâ€, we saw the unique view of the Mekong consisting of thousands of tiny islands covered with green water plants.
That is the first time for me to get to the beautiful natural resort in the second day of Khmer New Year. My family took more than 2 hours to travel to the site along national road No.7. By the time, we will see large parking site for motorcycles and cars and see the crossing wooden bridge, floating cottages, soft-drink shops, guard and security as well.
During the a few years, there are big numbers of domestic and foreign tourists visiting Kampi resort, where is the interesting place. There are large forest grow on the rock at the bottom of Mekong river with 0.50 to 1.30 meter depth and flow without dangerous speed.
