Eating and Drinking

Yesterday evening at around 6:00pm, black cloud was going to rain, winding heavily. In the street in Phnom Penh, people were rushing to their home before raindrop comes. There were some traffic jams. To me and my friend (Virak), we were leaving office and driving quickly toward street restaurant in order to eat and drink something. Luckily, this evening, it was not raining. And it is good chance for us to eat and drink happily at Good Dream restaurant.

Sitting and drinking together with three persons, one shoeshine boy came near our table and then he made massage to Virak. That is good act to earn money from quests drinking and chatting; by the way, it was the unlucky day for the boy because we all had not changes to give him. Nearly 30 minute later, he came again. We told him that we had no changes.

Spending more than 2 hours on drinking and chatting, we drank 4 draft of Tiger Beer, with a plat of roasted beef, fried corn, and a loaf of beef (named Dream Beef) and so on.

A minute later, a disabled man with both legs came near our table and begged us for money. We still had no small change. But we had other solution to find money to give me, we called waitress to change our money and than we gave him.

It was time to pay a bill. Waitress gave me bill and then I rechecked it.The bill was wrong. We ordered one plat of fried corn and they charged two plats. I told waitress to take it back and then they corrected it. In this point, I just would like to let all of you know, we should recheck bill. Sometimes, cashier wrote wrong unintentionally, or intentionally.
