Nearly two years that I have heard term “Weblog†or “Blog†after I read article published on The Cambodia Daily saying about Cambodian Blogger, Tharum, at the end of year 2005. Since, I intended to possess my own blog but I did not know what the specific tops to be posted on it. My blog was created since January 5, 2006 with technical assistance from Virak, supporting hosting from my friend in Janpan, who is E-Khmer’s owner.
What I am hard to write content is not different from many blogger, and students, who always asked me how to make blog popular, how to write content and so on. At that time, I felt hard to advise them because I am not good at blogging as well. Later, I always read the professional foreign bloggers such as Problogger, John Chow Dot Com, Chris Garett…etc. I read articles saying about how to write content, method of blogging such as 5 blogging method that work, 10 ways to become a better blogger, 10 things you need to know before you blog; 6 lesions Britney Spears can teach you about blogging; Why nobody reads your blog…etc.
So, creation of blog is to share something I know with, to keep in touch with and to network with my friends and people. By the way, I just want to record my articles as diary, to improve my writing. I now share my a little experience I leant. As you know producing content is not so much easy as you read books. Sometimes, I don’t know what I should write to post my blog. On the other hand, I don’t want my blog to die; I try to find something to update my blog, even thought not often.
To me, in order to update my blog, I have to find some articles from daily newspapers in Khmer and English, Magazines, Bulletins, Internet, conversation with friends, and to go somewhere I am interested and then I just write it to share with you and to take photos.
Because the increasing number of Cambodian bloggers in a few recent years, our Cambodian bloggers just write something saying about personal issues, events happening in Cambodia, news and so on to share with friends and others. But we do not still think blogging for business or money yet. For the foreign bloggers, they blog for their business and money, sometimes they spend their full time for blogging such as Problogger.
To be honest I hope that my adsense click would improve.
since started i have only a few clicks worth US$1.5 
. What about you vutha? There are so many purpose of blogging, for me the most important things I want to share is to encourage young Cambodia to discuss, take action about our social issues.
But every day i look on my stats, I feel disappointed by the fact that, my discuss analysis post is less popular than funny post
. Anyway I am happy that my blog has some reader too.

Before I never think that I can make money from my blog, but after I have read many popular bloggers. they gave good ideas about how to earn buck from blog such as putting Adsense, Affiliate, Banner Ads, and so on.
Until now, I put two ads on my blog: google adsense and Text-ads-link. I placed Adsense for 6 months, earned $42 until now. For Text-adsl-link earned $38.
I agreed with you for posting Something related to social issues, no one are interested in making discussion. Youth like talking about funny story. I think youth maybe not used to participate in thinking and sharing idea. By the way, they are afraid of society situation, which does not give full rights to them to express their own points of view.
I hope Cambodian young people will understand and participate in social issues from day to day.

Hey Dear, I have not so much time but i like to wast time with my blog. that is true not to talk with you long. that is because no internet connection at my office nearly 2 weeks. I hope u are doing good as well.
Fellow blogger here and there starts to mention me again. Huh? Cool, I guess.
Why i mentioned you is because i saw news about you and it made me initiative to create blog. By the way, now you are popular blogger. When i met The Asian Foundation’s country representative, he told me that you are the father of blogger.
Not only fellow Cambodian bloggers know you, but foreigner bloggers do too.
It’s wonderful you are setting such an example, and so sad that so many equate blogging with money. Blogging, as it began, was about sharing your self, your knowledge, your experiences, your story, helping others to learn with you or from you. Now, it’s becoming too much like a hobby turned into a business.
In order to get attention and really build a community of readers, it’s not about making money. It’s about the sharing, listening, and creating original content people want to read and link to.
As an early blogger in your community, it’s also important that you set an example. It looks like you are doing so, but I recommend you also teach them about how to write original content and find the stories worth sharing, and not copying others or just quoting news sources, but adding their voice to the conversation.
People want to know, so give them something worth knowing! That has made it work for me for many, many years.

Lorrel you are rite most ppl now are doing both things one is blogging and the other is making money. it can be blam on that cuz ppl are surviving by moneny supports. so after all, just my idea, with money ppl will make a good and nice blog. in order to attract more reader they have to make a good blog and when many ppl come they will have a high chance to earn money. so don’t give up folks!!! do blogging and making MONEY!!!!

Borin: you wanna improve ur adsense? hehehehe you better put ur adsense on the top…. or the best way is ask ur friends to help clicking it(?)
Khmertale, according to Google’s term of condition, we cannot tell our friends (third person) or yourself to help click on adsense. If you do that your adsense will be terminated directly by Google.
By the way, we should find the good location for placing it such as on the top, the right column and so on. I have no experience to earn so much money from google adsense yet. as i think we make a little money from Adsense it is because there are not a lot of readers.
