Leave your blog post updated
I think that you really don’t want your blog post to be dead, although you are far away from your computer, go on vacation, busy with your work or schoolwork, or travel to long distance without internet access for long time. Do you have plan to blog regularly?
From today on, I do not feel worried about this, even though, I travel provinces and anywhere for long time or go on vacation. My blog still is updated as planned. And I should not be at computer all days. When I will go somewhere for long, I have to write more articles for blog post.
How to blog your articles automatically? When you use WordPress blog, it is easy for you to post ahead of time and then it will release it at the certain date and time by utilizing “Post Timestamp” feature.
Firstly, you have to write your articles for leasing the scheduled date and time. Before publishing, you have to edit “date and time” and then click on box of “Edit timestamp”. Finally, you click on “Published” button of “Post status”. All of your post blog will not display on the front page until the date and time you set up is reached.
I always use this way to make my blog post not to be dead, especially on weekend, and going to provinces where cannot access internet. I hope all of you will use it for blogging regularly, even though you are not at your computer.

Thanks for sharing this idea. But I am not sure if the pings function work in such a way to make sure that your post always get pings. I don’t know if wordpress started to ping every ping service the moment you press the publish button, or the time as we set on the date and time stamp.
