Vutha, you travell alot hurrrr??
Last Sunday, I went to O’dong with my colleague and other staff in order to disseminate awareness of ICT to high school students. We show them about ICT. Most of them did not know what it was. By the way, there was no electricity. But they seem to be interested in it because they never hear.
Thank you for sharing this story to us all.
Life is not meant to be easy, in particular, at the remote rural areas. However, wish that people there can have access to the knowledge know how on integrated farm and become self sufficient, which will be or would be an advantage over the people in the city, where they have no land for that kind of thing.
this doesn’t meant to discount the plight of people in the remote rural areas, but should look at other options to becoming self reliance, self sufficient and independent.
Apart from rice planting season, any cash crops and vegetables are great choices, if there isn’t any surplus of produces for selling at the market, it surely will be enough for cooking and put more foods for the family. They can, if financial able, raise some pigs, chickens, ducks Etc.. Collect all dunks from those domestic animal raised to use as fertilizer [organic farming is best as there's no chemical involved], and if there’s a lot they can convert it to low pressure gas for cooking. All these would take time to set up but worth doing for the sake of becoming self-sufficient.
Just an idea not expert and may be helpful to the people at remote rural areas.
