Cambodian Blogger Summit August 30-31
This is first-ever Cambodian Blogger Summit in Cambodia, which will be held on August 30-31, 2007 at Panhasatra University initiated by “Personal Information Technology Workshop” under funding support from International Republican Institute in cooperation with Open Forum of Cambodia and City Link Company.
This event is to provide Cambodian Bloggers more knowledge of Web 2.0 and other practical services, to build network amongst Cambodian young internet surfers, and to engage attention from traditional media, civil society, development agencies and private entities to Cambodian blogger community.
There will be more foreign professional bloggers such as Bath Kanter, Preetam Rai, John Week, Any Brouwer, Steve Goodman, and other Cambodian bloggers.
100 Cambodian bloggers will be expected to attend 2-day event from within and outside the country. On the other hand, there will be national and international media coverage like TV, Radio, and Newspapers and so on.
