Hey Sopheap, I do not know the pepper market in Cambodian. But i just know that its price is 13000 Riel per kg recently that i get it from my parents living in Memot district.

Most people in Memot district are planting it.

Intersting news… How much land in each family growing paper? How many Kg could they sell to VN in each year? Is there any association or organzation working with them?

  5. vutha says:

Hey, you are asking me more questions. It is because i live in Memot and i know about their planting. their land is not big, just only half hectare or nearly one hectare. I have no specific figure of exporting to VN. Farmer can harvest more than 3 tons of dried pepper per year on half hectare of land.

By the way, there is not association or organization yet.
