Photos of forced eviction

In the early morning, I feel so shock by watching photos of the forced eviction of residents from their home. These photos I received by mail from Sokleng RIN, working with Pact-Cambodia. The forced eviction took place at around 4am on ~~November 02, 2007~~ April 20, 2007 in ~~Chong Chruoy village, Chruoy Changva~~ Spean Chea Commune, ~~Russey Keo district, Phnom Penh~~ Sihanoukville. Vutha, these photos are not from the Chruoy Chanva eviction but the Spean Chea commune (Sihanoukville) eviction whichtook place on April 20, 2007. More info here: http://www.licadho.org/album/view_photo.php?cat=36.

Regarding the Chruoy Chanva eviction, authorities blocked access to ngo workers & media (probably learning that pictures like the ones you just posted are spreading fast). More info here: http://www.licadho.org/articles/20071107/67/index.html
