Grand Concert Bosbapanh

On December 21, 2007, younger singer, Bosbapanh, will sing her new songs for the second album from 7pm at Chaktomuk Theatre (Phnom Penh) under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture. She is 10 year, her mom is Laotian and her daddy is Cambodia. Her band was named “La Compaignie BOSBAPANH”. She will be accompanied by nine musicians, all professors or students from Royal University of Find Arts. This band has been formed as semi-classical orchestra where they play traditional songs in as contemporary style.

The repertoire includes a number of well-known songs composed by HRH Norodom Sihanouk such as“Monica”. Bosba’s first album “Phnom Penh” also includes three traditional songs the retired king scored and popularized – “Violon Sneha”, “Slek Chheu” and “Samrong Chongkal.”

BosbaPANH and her musicians want to promote the music and culture of Cambodia.
