Fortunately, it was the first time and the last time that I saw the wax statue of Untac soldier at Cultural Village in Siem Reap province at the end of August while visiting this museum. This statue was removed from wax museum, depicting an Untac-era peacekeeper carousing with a short-skirted female. Taking this statue out is because prime minister expressed displeasure.
Prime minister said that “we should forget the Untac regime and that we must promote today’s happy living standard of workers, students and teachers.â€
This wax statue of Untac soldier put his arms around a woman girl in front of night club.

I am an Australian who served with UNTAC in
1992 to 1993.
It would be bad for me to think, that my service
with UNTAC was a waste of time.
I would like to think that I was part of something
that changed the way a nation was heading into
anarchy.
I loved the Khmer people with their eternal optimism
and no problem attitude.

Why does he translate UN it to UNtac?
The UN has mean so much to all the countries and the people in the world.
Hun sen should go to school to learn from Kindergarden in order to understand what the democracy mean and to run the country.
Hun sen has the power to minipulated and corrupted the cambodians (khmers)people but he does not has a brain in his head.
