Only locally-produced products have been on sales at night market, initiated by Phnom Penh Municipality, by beginning on Friday for the two-week trial. The market will be open between 5:00pm until midnight every day until November 25. The 100 stalls are located on the riverfront in front of Wat Ounalom temple.

The creation of the night market aimed at encouraging Cambodian crafts makers to have more creative idea, linking provincial crafts makers to markets in the capital and encouraging people in rural areas to engage in trade. By the way, selling locally-produced goods will also attract local and international tourists.

Yes, I had difficulty to park my motocycle as well. many people were visiting this market. It is good to attract local and international tourists but government authorities should make security and order for visitors to be easy to park their motorcycles or cars as well.

I went to visit it Saturday evening. But no bought anything, just looked around.

  3. this is a good blog. will come back regularly to read more posts
