Thanks for your gifts
Firstly, I would like to say THANKS so much to my friend, Hash Veasna, who gave me two books entitled “Toward the Establishment of Stock Exchange in Cambodia†and “What is Stock Exchange?â€, the both had been published in June and September 2007 respectively. I also appreciate you to spend valuable time to do research and write these books that are worth to Cambodian students.Â
I briefly described his background to all of you, presently he is the independent researcher, translator, interpreter and lecturer at universities. He had MBA in Finance in 2005 at University of Cambodia (honor first prize winner). His previous working experiences was the director of student academic affair of the University of Cambodia (2004-06), the senior auditor at the Auditing firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers-Cambodia Ltd (2000-04) and worked as an auditor at the Auditing firm, Ernst & Young Indochina (E&Y) (1999-2000)
Establishing “securities marketâ€, the Cambodian government hopes that it will draw international capital to tiny country and helps expand Cambodia economy as well. Senators passed last month a law on the insurance and trading of stocks and bonds in the latest move to prepare the country for establishing its first stock market by 2009.
