This morning, I went to withdraw my money at ACLEDA bank, I saw many and many people sitting and waiting for their number to be called. Nowadays, Cambodian people are seemly to understand more how to deposit their money in banks rather than keeping them at home, not like before. By the way, it is because that it is the belief of the bank’s service.
I noted that most of them deposited, withdrew and transferred money. To me, I just opened account and use it this year. Before I never think about the deposit of money at bank because I do not believe in bank services and no money as well. At the present time, there are many banks operating in Cambodia by competing each others.
I observed that some people, who have not too much money, rarely deposit their money in bank to earn interest. They try to buy a plot of land because it will get more profit than bank interest. Land values are increasing every where in Cambodia.
