On Windows Vista… a friend has one of those huge HP 19inch screen laptops… 2 hard drives and just about every feature one could ask for… Vista ran very smoothly on her computer as it had 2 gb ram and a fast enough cpu/gpu she begged me to downgrade the computer to Windows XP… after a few hours of playing around on vista with funny boxes jumping up all over the place I clearly understood why… It is now running smoothly on windows XP… for the past years that I have used XP I have been pretty happy with it…

My system is Intel 2Duo core and basic Vista. I can tell you that if you are looking for doing things as you used do on XP then you can’t do a thing with Vista. And file that sent as attachment on MS word can’t be retrieved on Vista either. Think it is better use XP if you want everything you use to do on XP
