I have seen them [children collecting cans at weddings and at the beaches] on many occasions in the past. My empathy is with them that they have to do that for pocket money to help their family.

Even here - the state of welfare, in early hour in the morning, an Asian gentlemen in his late 60 I assumed, [couldn't verified his nationality] go through bins after bins for cans and plastic bottles. I do believed that is his habit not because he didn't have any money.

Those poor kids. Speaking of which when I went to the Sihanoukkville beach in Cambodia, there are many of them. They will asks you for the can. I just end up giving them the can plus the drink in the can, because they won't stop asking and I felt bad. So I ended up buying at least like 16 cans of soda...hahaha It is very sad i think.
