I received announcement from Mr. Lux, who is working for IRI, via Email by looking for Cambodian Volunteer blogger. The announcement is:

“I am looking for a volunteer Cambodian blogger to help select articles from blogs in Cambodia to publish weekly on a main local newspaper (Raksmey Kampuchea).

If anyone interested to help, please email me back or call me at 023 210 254 for details.

The project is part of the effort to promote blogging in Cambodia, particularly in Khmer language. We are also looking forward to more sponsorship to make it seen more than once a week.”

IRI – you meant the International Republican Institute.

Would love to to try but I have a bitter experience with IRI personnel [an American guy who may the head of IRI in Cambodia] during the 2004 general election in Cambodia. He is nothing but a Jerk

At that time [2003] I was part of the international observer in Siem Reap, and that American guy complained bitterly about the present of Police who guard the polling station. I read the billboard in Khmer and told him that they were not close to the distant allowed.

You know what he said “I’ll ask my live dictionary” which is his personal interpreter or person who is accompanied him at the time.

What he said to me is unacceptable in any country standard.

I would challenge him not in khmer but in English language any time.

What do he think of himself? God? A proper conduct republican or a real knowledge person about democracy when he can’t even read Khmer and look down on Khmer.
