Blog’s owner is blogger?

I always ask myself if I am really blogger ever since I have my own blog for more than 2 years. At the start of blogging, I never regard myself as blogger. What I blog is just for sharing my thought, opinion or what I have with all of you and others. So far, I still do not regard myself as blogger. Why? I feel afraid of myself because I am not good at writing and not blog professional like foreign bloggers. By the way, I did not determine specific topics I have to do with my blog. But what is important is that I like to share what I have and like to read other blogs.

When I met Cambodian bloggers, they never think that they are bloggers. They said they just have their own blog for sharing thought or something or for communicating with their friends and other people. To this point, why do they feel afraid of regarding themselves as blogger?

What it blog? If we talk about term “Blog” that can be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog, while term “Blogger” that is a person who blog. I can conclude that the blog owner automatically becomes blogger, even though we don’t want to become blogger. Do you agree with me? Do you think that you are blogger?

Blogger doesn’t need to be a 1000-word-professional article blogger. Blog is also called a daily online diary. Sometimes, to me, I just wanna read something that is relaxing, and your blog is one of my frequently reading sites.

M i a blogger? Look, when one person use internet, whether for any purposes, he/she is called internet user. The point is because of the sound combination, we cannot call Interneter… To this simple logic, anyone who use blog, whether or not as their own diary, as page for sharing issues… they are called blog user and in short form, blogger!

I honestly think that in order to call yourself a blogger, you’d have to be working as a blogger. Titles are given to you when you perform some sort of task. Just because you post things on the internet doesn’t necessarily make you a blogger. You could be a writer rather than a blogger. That’s almost the same thing, right? You write on the internet. If you get paid to blog, then maybe you can be more of a blogger. But at the end of the day, “blogger” is just a title that one gives to oneself.

Basically put, if you own a blog, you’re a blogger. The choice is yours to make whether or not you want to be called one.

I think anyone who owns a blog is a blogger and blogs are always unique as to their content. However, a distinction can be made between professional bloggers - possibly those earning money for blogging - and amateur bloggers - those blogging as a hobby like myself. But at the end of the day, it comes to how the rather new term ‘blogger’ is defined.

I think so, any one who owns blog is blogger. but they are only professional blogger or not.
