    License Software? ;)

Whatever, it’s a good and bad news for me.

  2. vutha says:

What do u think that it is bad and good for you?

For me, I think that our young Cambodians cannot afford to buy licensed software yet. And we should have other option to buy and use free software.

Cracked software should be only used by students but not the commercial points. Here in Vietnam, Every company has to buy licenses for their softwares. Meanwhile, We still use cracked softwares for study ;) The price is about 0.5 dollar/disc.

I have heard 3$ licensed Windows XP will be here soon as Bill said when he visited Vietnam last year.

  4. Felix Dzerzhinsky says:

Use open source. It is free in both meanings of the word. And fully translated into Khmer. See the KhmerOS site http://www.khmeros.info

I personally can afford real Micro$oft but don’t use Windoze because it has such crap security.

Windoze is only good for games.

  5. boeun says:

It’s good because it’s a sign of copyright law and it’s bad because I can’t afford to buy license software. I may use cracked software.

  6. vutha says:

@ ijajaja, that is great for student, if the reduction of licensed software price. Now, most of Cambodian students like to use copies of software that they buy from market.

@Felix, yes, for open source is free source for users, I noted that now Cambodian students do not like to use it because they get used to use Microsoft software. For me, I never use open source yet. Sometimes, it is hard for me to change my habit.

@Boeun, it is good for enforcing the Intellectual Property Law in Cambodia but most of young people will get impact from law implementation.

  7. boeun says:

That’s right! So I start to make it easy now. :D

  8. @apsara says:

I think Microsoft should offered the cheap price 1$-3$ to the student. because most of the poor country student cannot efford to buy license software. and the licensing should apply for the company and other business institution.

  9. leng says:

how cool if Microsoft could reduce the price for us?

  10. piseth says:
