Tourism resort: Taprum Site
That is the second year of opening new natural resort, Traprum Site, every Khmer New Year celebration, and the first time I visited this site at the second day of New Year with my family and relative. Before this site was left for long time, it is because of peace and people like to visit natural and cultural resorts. Therefore, a group of people and the local authority initiated to arrange this site for welcoming Cambodian people in each Khmer New Year celebration and for generating income.
This resort is located in Kratie province, far around more than 30 Kilometers from Snuol district. I noted that most of guests went there were Cambodians from different provinces. A stretch of 4 km is the red, dirty road from National Road leading to the site. While you arrive at the site you would see bamboo forest and waterfall with small and big rocks. Entrance fee is 2000 Riel for motorbike, 5000 Riel for small car and from 7000 to 10,000 Riel for truck or pick-up.
Each family or friends always rolled out their mates or tarpaulin under the shadow of bamboo and big trees by eating and drinking together. No beds would be arranged for serving guests yet. Young people like playing with water you will see it in this photo. This area will be left during rainy season because it will be flooded by rain.

My nieces and nephews were pleased by playing with water coming from the upstream river.

That is the shadow of bamboo and tree that people like to sit and eat and drink together with family and friends.

People were playing with water after eating and drinking.

Thanks Rattanak, it is hot over there, but people like to site under the shadow of bamboo and big tree. it is similar to Kbal Chay but Kbal chay’s waterfall is better than this one.

To this information you supply, i see that now there are increasing tourism sites in provinces. That is a good achievement of the government.
