Blogging for fun, not making money
While I was presenting in the last few months and then one of students participated in the workshop asked me if we could make money with a blog. He took examples of many foreign bloggers earning blogging money.
Answering this question, I said “Yes†there are many foreign bloggers have been making money from blog or website. Blogging, some just spend part-time to blog at home after their work. I thought that it is not easy to monetize blog for our Cambodians while we just start up our blog and think over money earned from blog. Making blog popular is not happening overnight. Install blog, we should not think so much of money making, what is important is that we should think that the creation of blog is for fun, hobbies, the sharing of thoughts, opinion, working experience and stuffs. If you think blogging is for money, one day you will give up blog. Your high expectation will make you upset because it does not achieve as you thought.
Blogging for money will make you abandon blog, it is because that you only think about how to make money with a blog rather than focusing on producing the quality content and interesting topic. The small number of buck was made, and then you feel tired of blogging.

i really support your idea. i used to think about it too. but i prefer to do it simple and interesting. i don’t want to give up. i like ur blog and the way u write it.
Just like vutha said, “Most bloggers create blog for making money but they do not think that they make money, but they concentrate carefully on the interested content. Finally, they got money with a blog for their pocket. Hahaha.
From today on, we should think how to make business online. it is more popular in developed and developing countries.”
I also do agree that while we are having fun blogging, we can also place a few adsense units on our blogs to make some bucks. Blogging becomes my favorite subject today and it brings me some bucks as a return from this fun time labor. I don’t mine to put adsense while it earns me money haha.
Currently, i have more than 10 blogs that monetized by adsense and i am satisfy with what i do. It is more fun cos i can make money through this proofing system…

I do agree with you.At some point of my blogging, a few people encouraged me to earn money through blogging. I was restless for a while. I didn’t feel all right at all because my main purpose of creating my blog was to have fun. it made me feel bad and disgusted with myself (to tell the truth)…so I cancelled the adsense I was trying to get..haha…
I couldn’t agree more..haha
