For the last few months, the government had shut down the two South Korean companies for operating the match-making business in Cambodia and put a halt on processing the document for marriage of Cambodian women with South Korean by minimizing the exploitation and abuse of human. Why does not the government ban on illegal foreigners who enter into the country?
There are many women and men have been married with foreigners or Cambodian citizens who are living abroad in an attempt to process the legal document to leave Cambodia. Most of them want to live in the powerful countries such as USA, Australia, Canada and France. There are many ways to prepare the legal documents to quit Cambodia, especially through marriage.
More easily leave and live legally overseas, the good way is the marriage. There are two kinds of marriage: real and unreal marriage. The real marriage has been held by with relatives or Cambodians or foreigners living abroad. The fake married is held by paying someone who has full right to live overseas or by helping from their relatives as well. As the result, someone who goes to the foreign countries by unreal marriage is living legally and illegally or some return to their home country.
Besides the marriage, some students who have internship or study abroad sometimes seek legal asylum but some is living legally or illegally. And later, they find women or men to marry in order to find fully legal living.
That is what I see and hear for years while Cambodian people wanna to live abroad. I know that there are many other ways that I do not know. By the way, some people have been tricked and lost money and times because of the fake marriage or brokered marriage.
These points I found, I hope all of you will know more. And what I said is not very perfect. Sorry if I sometimes make a unintentional mistakes.

What you have said here is perfectly right - Genuine and fake marriage in order to leave Cambodia and live abroad, or through othr method.
No one can deny that in particular people who have done so.

Actually I think people rights to move freely have been violated. No one can bar those who love each other and get married from choosing where to live together. It is not right, and not ethical.
If the government suspect that the marriage is not genuine government should investigate marriage case by case. It is not right to ban all of interracial couple from leaving the country.
If few people leave country through fake marriage, punish them. But not punish all of the couple who wish to leave the country.

not a good topic to talk about. Some people will get offended about this per most of the people who migrate here to the states are in that situation. It’s not or not good, no one knows for sure. Every situation is different and for this reasons, it’s hard to say who is right or who is wrong. Younger generation will be able to change what is right and what is wrong. Believe it or not, the reason behind most marriage is b/c the girl or guy wants to come to the US so that they in turn can bring their family over. In the end, it’s not really about the relationships, it’s about the family of the person who is migrating over. A few cases where it’s actually about the relationship, but that is rare.
