In the week-long troop stand-off between the build-up of Cambodian troops and Thai troops at Preah Vihear temple after priceless temple listed as World Heritage Site by UNESCO on July 07, 2008 in Canada. Thai troops intruded on Cambodian territory and sovereignty. Thai’s incursion is violating the international law. All of these images are from Radio Free Asia.
I just got message from my friend saying that:
Khmer love Khmer, Khmer help Khmer try to cut off using and stop using Siem products or any products print in Siem language. We should not let this nation look down our people anymore. If you are Khmer or having Khmer blood please pass this to your Khmer friends around the globe

In time like this baseless sms and racist sms should not be forwarded. It could worsen the already worst problem.
I hope all Khmer understand that there is no good out of war for both side.

I think it shouldn’t be forwarded too, as you know in some cases it help but some just make it worse. We should solve the problem with mouth but not hand or leg.

It’s purely my personal point of view. Any rumor, baseless and racist SMS shall not be circulated at all. It will not do us any good but rather harm the image of the country [Cambodia] as seen during the 2003 riots when the whole world looked at us as a nation of angry mobs [in the matter of fact, it was the minority group - less than 0.01% of the population who involved in the riot.
It’s really a personal choce if one thinks that it’s appropriate to stop using/buying Thai’s products, visiting Thailand or boarding the Thai/Bangkot airways to protest our discontent towards the occupation of our land around Preah Vihear Temple.

That is true, it is baseless information that we cannot believe. i always got the same message from my friends via mobile phone. I think that maybe mobile phone Companies created this message and then spread out to its users in order to make profit from message charge.
I posted this message on my blog, it does not mean that i encourage all of you to follow groundless information, i just want all of you to deeply think this message meanings. why do they create this?

I also received several text messages from various senders too and seem grounless text message. I think doing this way may even cause more worsen problem to government who is trying to sort out Thai’s incursion by diplomatically. I am saying this does not mean I favour to Thailand, I am just express my concern that this message can creat more bigger problem which Thailand can use as an excuse if Cambodian can teenagers can not control their activity such destroying Thai business etc. I think it is not the time yet, We will do if we know that there is no way of sorting out this deadlock.

Oh, another thing, I encourage all of Cambodian to remember this message in heart. I strongly agreed that war is thing we dont even want to hear it, we should avoid it if possible. War will destroy everything.
