One day before the Election Day, I drove with my brother-in-law towards the area surrounded by the chain of mountains- called Beuong Romleuch (Mlech Lake) - along Takeo province border with Kampot province. This lake is the potential natural tourism destination in the near future. Red dirty road (just constructed) is heading towards to the Lake around 4 Km from National Road 3 leading to Kampot province.
More than 10 hatch rooted huts standing along the edge of lake are owned by local residents a year ago. Vendor said that most of domestic people have often visited this site, especially over the weekend. People can swim in the clean and transparent water by breathing fresh air. Looking around the lake, you will see natural, beautiful landscapes of mountains.

Wow, you happened to visit Mlech already. That’s a nice place. Mlech has a clear water to swim during the summer. I went their a few times since it opens to tourism in the last few years. Not to mention, it is very close to my home village of chhouk district, kampot province.
