Orange plantation in Memot district
Last month, I went to visit my parents living in Memot district, Kompong Cham province. And then I went to my parent’s orange field. You will see photo of me holding orange. Most of people in this district are farming family-rubber plantation, pepper, cashew, and other crash crops because of fertile soil for agro-industry sector.

It’s good to hear that people goes on multi-crop plantation rather than mono-crop. The tree is about 5 years old, is it right?
That is right, its age is around 5 years.

You have a very good picture at the farm. I like orange. And when i read this it reminds me a few years ago when i visited the orange field where they have all orange that i can pick up and eat.
I can see kampong cham has very good soil for almost all kind of fruit to grow.
It sounds good. We should promote our agriculture and buy our local products. It is the best way to help our poor farmers to help themselves.
