Cricket Vendor
Roasted crickets have been sold along National road 7, you will see it when you travel to Kompong Cham province. Most of buses, taxi and other truckers always stop at Cashew Field “Chamkar SvayChanty” for having breakfast, lunch and dinner. Cambodian people living nearby villages always sell other kind of insects like crickets, giant spiders, and so on. Cambodian people like eat crickets but foreigners do not. Do you like? For me, I do not.

There is some crikets here but not the same type we have had back home and people here would not eat them either. I will definitely have some on my next trip
I like the fried insects so much, esp, Aping :p
As I know most of foreigners are afraid of eating crickets. sometimes they double when they see Cambodians eating it.
Hey Vanna, you really like it? I do not like it but i can taste it sometimes, Aping (Giant spider), before i was afraid to eat it but now I am not and I used to eat it sometimes. it is delicious. hehehhehe

@ vireak, Thanks for your leaving comment on my blog. I frequently travel through road N0. 7 to Kampong Cham because I go to visit my parents in Memot district many times a year.
@ Chamroeun, what you said are true.
