Khmer Poem still alive for Cambodian youths

All people always saw and heard the well-know Khmer Scholar, Krom Ngoy (1865-1936), aka “Phirum Ngoy” or “Ngoy the language master”. He usually performed “Chapei” at the various religious ceremonies and festivals by taking his meaningful poetry of form of rhyming “Chapei” songs. His poems are concerned with the moral issues and teach people about life, culture, arts, literature and Cambodian nationalism. So far, his poem is still meaningful for all Cambodian people to follow it, especially it gives good education for young people.
