Reahu website blocked by government
Cambodian government sent letter to local Internet Service Providers to block access to controversial website “Reahu†last week. People within Cambodia cannot access this site after minister of women raged the pictures from site featuring bare-breasted illustration of Apsara dancers and one woman in the clothing of a Khmer Rouge cadre.
Minister of Post and Telecommunication confirmed that he sent the letter to Internet Providers in Cambodia and abroad to block the website after being filed a complaint from the ministry of women.
Website owner, Rich Lor, said that “The Cambodian government had issued a note of blockage to many Internet Providers in Cambodia… if this kind of basic freedom is denied God knows what will happen next.â€
Even though, people within other countries still access this website. And the pictures on the site is still disseminating throughout the world. Whether it is necessary for Cambodian government to block this site? What is important is that the authorities should take a good at decrease in the value of morality and social issues. The growth of Karaoke pallor, Massage places, Night clubs and so on are affecting and poisoning the teenagers and society. Pornography videos are played across Phnom Penh and provinces without crack down.

The government has no rights to block any things. Blocking website is a step back in freedom of information.
The social moral… or what ever they say has a very vague definition. Under the argument of such information could affect the moral standard, government can block any things.

May be it is sooner or later they started to block political blog.
