Tip 1: Define yourself and your purpose: Choose the subject of your blog with care and consideration. Your blog should mirror your passion and knowledge on the subject. Identify whether you will be able to consistently post on the subject.  You can blog about yourself, news, traveling, and so on.

Tip 2: Choose your domain name: You have to choose your domain name for your blo. If you do not need to spend money for creating blog, you can choose free blog platform such as www.blogger.com  or  www.wordpress.com.

Tip 3: Make a time commitment: before you begin your blog, know that you must make a personal commitment to have the time available to not only regularly post to your blog, but to read and respond to comments made on it. And if the comment section is managed, you or perhaps a subordinate must make decisions on which comments will be posted on the blog and which will not. You should work blog writing and reading time into your regular schedule, and if you know you will be unavailable for a period of time, invite a guest blogger(s) to fill your virtual shoes. Remember, in the blogosphere, 10 days without posts could mean the death of your blog, as readers will be drawn elsewhere in virtual space.

Tip 4: Update blog often:  a non-updated blog is a dead blog. If you cannot commit to a consistent blogging schedule, then it’s best not to blog until you can. This is where blogging about your passion comes. If you are not passionate about the topic, then chances are you’ll keep blogging about it. Ideally, you should update blog often (2-3 articles per week).

Tip 5: Write quality content: writing unique and good content is very important for attracting your audiences to read your blog post. If it is not good, the readers will not read it and they will not return to visit it again. Readers will not come to read it anymore.

Tip 6: Know your readers: blogging is a two-way street. You cannot exist without readers and readers don’t exist unless you have nothing to read. Blogging is about forming relationship. There is relationship between you and readers and between you and other bloggers in the niches.
