Asking to click on adsense prohibited
I usually got emails and comments left on my blog by asking me to help click on their Google adsense. New bloggers or publishers have to understand well the Google policy before placing adsense on your blogs or websites. As we know, most bloggers like to put Adsense on their blog to make money. In general, making money from Adsense is a fast easy way for website publishers or bloggers of all sizes to earn money by displaying targeted, unobtrusive google ads on their blogs.
At the mean times, I used to hear and see that Cambodian blogger’s google accounts were banned from google. So, you have to know that clicks on Google ads must result from genuine user interested. In addition, noting that clicking your own ads for any reason is prohibited.
Google policy does not allow publishers to ask others to help click their ads or use deceptive implementation methods to obtain clicks. Therefore, publishers or bloggers who put adsense on blogs may not:
- Compensate users for viewing ads or performing searches, or promise compensation to a third party for such behavior.
- Encourage users to click the Google ads using phrases such as “click the ads”, “support us”, “visit these links” or other similar language.
- Direct user attention to the ads using arrows or other graphical gimmicks.
- Place misleading images alongside individual ads.
- Place ads in a floating box script.
- Format ads so that they become indistinguishable from other content on that page.
- Format site content so that it is difficult to distinguish it from ads.
- Place misleading labels above Google ad units. For instance, ads may be labelled “Sponsored Links” or “Advertisements”, but not “Favourite Sites” or “Today’s Top Offers”.
I have no more experiences in making money from adsense. But I just remind all of us to be careful of clicking your own adsense. If you still do it, your adsense account will be banned one day in the future. In order to make more money from adsense, you should reconsider your content’s keywords, blog’s traffic, and frequent update and so on.
