Culture of disrespect to citizen’s rights
In the current society, if someone gets rich and powerful, they will rarely respect the laws made by the government, and the morality of respecting each other declines amongst the rich or powerful and the poor. The poor’s basic rights have been stepped on by the rich and powerful.
On Saturday evening, when I went to withdraw my money from ATM machine of ACLEDA bank near traffic lights of Steung Meanchey Bridge. While arriving, I saw many people standing outside of ATM booth because some clients were in the booth. I saw a sign standing in front of booth bearing the word “Please queer here.” It means that everyone has to wait for someone in the booth to go out first, and next they have rights to withdraw money. If you arrived first, you could enter the booth first.
While I was standing outside the booth, including others, waiting for someone to go out, and then a luxury car- Lexes- arrived. There were two men to get out of the car and then walked straights to the booth without caring of any ones who were waiting outside. After taking cash, they drove away.
After the both guys walked into the ATM machine, no one dared to say anything, they just still waited and waited. Where are the rights of respecting each other? Where is the justice in society?

First in first serve shall be the case but this is hardly respected. I am echo of your concern about disrespectful act and ignore one’s basic rights.
