So far, the long-awaiting corruption draft law has not been passed yet, corruption issues is the hot topic for political parties and Cambodian people who are strongly attacking the current government. The Cambodian government rejected US ambassador’s remarks during the organization of Clean Hand Concert on May 30, 2009. US ambassador said that Cambodia lost $500 million every year to corruption.
