Road accident caused by human being

Before making discussion about the cause for fatal accident happening in Cambodia, I just want to raise concerns about something. As you know that even though the government have been trying to implement the road traffic law in an attempt to reduce the fatal accident but the number of fatalities is not decreasing as what they expected. To this point, I can raise the question that why are there still the increasing accident? What is the cause for accident?

In general, I personally noted that the road accidents occurring in Cambodia is caused by human errors. The human beings are driving factors to contribute to the accident occurrences. Vehicles and transportation ways are not the main actors to push for this incident. Traffic accident stems from human errors as following:

Traffic law violation: at the present time, people still don’t respect the traffic laws which are complied with all travelers. Even though they know that they break the law but they still did it, if there are no traffic policemen stationed at the intersection of traffic lights or anywhere is prohibited.

Not respecting or understanding each others: the travelers did not have understanding and respect each other on the street traveling. That is the points that cause accident intentionally.

Careless driving: sometimes, accident had been occurring by accident it is because that the drivers do not take care of their high-speed driving such calling phone ir playing with their partners with their partners.

Drunken drivers: law does not allow drunken drivers to drive their motorcycles or cars when they have a lot of alcohol or they are drunk. That is the dangerous issues that make accident easily. Sometimes, innocent travelers are faced accident and are killed by drunken drivers.

The above points I personally observed but there are still other issues that are causing fatal road accidents in Cambodia. If each road travelers respect the law, understand each other and do not drive their cars or motorcycles when they are drunk. The number of traffic accident will be going down. Right???
