Day one: Barcamp Phnom Penh 2009

Today is the first day of Barcamp Phnom Penh held in Cambodia. According to Barcamp website, there were 1158 participants registered. This morning, there are lots of participants from different institutions such as students, private company staff, NGOs staff, and other foreigners from Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, and Burma.

It is the second time that Cambodian volunteers organized in an attempt to share knowledge, experience with each others. And it is good for young generation students to build network to each other.

Compared with the first one, today’s event is crowed of participants. Participants can participate in presenting their topics. And there are 8 rooms for each session. If someone is interested in one topic, they can attend that room.

Today’s topics are:

For me, I joined the three events held in Cambodia, Clogger event and bother Barcamp Phnom Penh. And at the end of last year, I went to join Barcamp Saigon in Vietnam as well.

Hey, enjoy your time here with topics you are interested. Or you can share whatever you know with our Cambodian young people.
