Blogspot is free blog platform
After several news reported about the blockage of a popular blog in Cambodia- KI-media.blogspot.com, and then I accessed blogs of my friends who used free blog platform -sub-domain of blogspot- and all blogs are blocked. It is notice that I accessed these blogs through Metfone’s internet connectivity.
Firstly, I thought that it was because of my laptop. And then I restarted it but I still could not access those blogs. I asked some friends of mine who are using Metfone ISP and they said that they also could not access them.
Points of views said that the government blocked a popular blog- KI-media.blogspot.com- which is the cause for blocking other blogs as well but the government officials denied that it has ordered local internet service providers to block that domain.
In addition, Ezecom’s customers also complained that they also could not access domain name of blogspot as well. Today, Ezecom told local newspaper that it did not block this domain. This issue happened because of technical problem and this solution was done and Ezecom’s customers also can access blogs, using blogspot, today.
Until today, I cannot access blogspot thru Metfone ISP. But one friend of mine told me that not problem, we could access blogs through website “www.hideglobal.com” which is a free anonymous proxy site and then we can browse the net website anonymously and safely.

Thank you! I was wondering why i couldn’t access my blog all of a sudden (in the middle of posting also) nor anyone else’s on Blogspot. Very annoying. Can anything be done?? Still trying to work out how to use hideglobal – thanks for the tip.
If you still cannot access blogspot, you can use hideglobal.com to read your blog. You just only type your blog into “Enter Web address” of hideglobal and click on “Go”, you will be able to read your blog (blogspot) post.
Thanks got that to work. Now blogspot is up and running again like normal this morning!
Yes, I now can access blogspot this morning too thru Metfone ISP. That is great that we can visit the kind of blogspot…… Bravo….

@ Liday, what ISP are u using? Today (22-01-2011) I cannot access blogspot again thru Metfone ISP. And one friend of me told that he could not access it too. Maybe Metfone blocks this site forever. Really?

oh ! we can use proxy server.
Oh! you check internet through phone and Mfone company. For me, I check it through computer so that might not be a problem. So how about now? is it still a problem?
Still a problem for me to access blogs via metfone. Yes, maybe it will be forever. Has anyone talked to metfone at all and seen what they say?
