Before the election, all political activists always make their promise to Cambodian people that if they are elected they will improve people’s living standards, eliminate corruption, reduce state power and increase people’s power, create jobs for fresh graduates, reduce soaring gas price, prevent illegal immigration, protect territory, and so on. All are political parties’ promise to people in order for citizens to cast their ballot for them.

After they are elected to rule the country, they will still keep their promise or not. If they do not, how people do? The cartoon was drawn by CSD by saying that “Have power, have everything,” is it true?

In the early morning on Saturday, I spotted the event that the luxury car (Lexus) crushed into the glasses shop, Morden Optics, located along Sihanouk Blvd at the corner of traffic light and broke the metal door. This event happened at night while shop closed. When I was at the scene, I did not see the driver but saw shop’s owner standing in front of shop. I can draw conclusion that the driver was drunk; therefore he/she met this bad accident.

Bystanders were standing and watching the car accident breaking into the glasses shop on Saturday morning.
