Dogs not allowed inside Angkor Temples

Recently, Siem Reap authority announced all hotels and guesthoused not to allowed to take any kind of dogs to tour in Angkor Parks Temples. By the way, pet owners will be fined if they bring animals into Angkor park. And their pet will be confiscated also.

This announcenment were made by local authorities in an attempt to conserve Khmer culture and to protect animals from leaving excrement inside a Buddhisst temples, because it is not good for our culture. Most tourists who brought their dogs to travel with them

    I think it’s a good idea to do that. We can get lot of money from Angkor wat, we should use that money to keep Angkor what as long as it can.
