Nokia N93

Hoping that the lucky day will be bringing to me instead of the unlucky day. My favorite mobile phone, Nokia N93, was stolen yesterday night at around 3 am while I was well sleeping in my room. Approximately at 4 or 4:30 am, I woke up and then I wanted to turn off air-conditioner because it was so cold. Oh my God, I did not see my phone connected with earphone near me but I saw only earphone left.

Suddenly, I felt so afraid, and looked at the window; a piece of curtain was put together into the hole of the metal window and glass window opened. I thought that thief stole my phone already. It was because of my carelessness, it was that I forgot to lock the glass window, I just closed it.

Normally, it is not easy to take it away through window because it is high to reach it. Thieves used stuffs or stair to lean against wall to climb up and utilizing long-bamboo stick to take it. I saw long stick left outside my house. And I saw the finger-prints on the metal window as well.

At the daytime at around 3 pm, one teenager approached my sister and asked her about the rented house and then she told him that “no rented house here”. And he tried to move forward to my sister who was boiling water at the back of house. Suddenly, two other teenagers run quickly toward my sister. Fortunately, she closed and locked the door on time. She felt very and very afraid until she forgot to tell my brother sitting into the hours to help her.

Those wanted to rob my sister’s necklace around her neck. The robberies and burglaries always have happened off my buildings’ block such as grabbing neighbor’s necklace, telephone and house-breaking.

My phone was used more than one year after being bought. I now lost all of contact numbers (my friend’s numbers) saved in phone. My phone was really important for me, besides calling, to utilize its camera to catch pictures for my blog, while I had not digital camera coming with. That is the first time, I lost phone. Normally, I always took care of it. I rarely talked on phone while I was driving; I always stopped motorbike and then answering it because I am so afraid of robber to grab.

Sound like your house be surrounded by thieves. If like that you are in trouble. you have to hire private security guard to take care of your property. Anyway I think the thieve would come again and they will become a robber. I hope you would claim this to village chief or local police. Take care

Vutha, I am so sorry that you have lost your precious phone. My family in Cambodia lost 3 phones in one night. The window was not locked, and at around 4:30 A.M., the thief simply reached in and took it. Luckily, they weren’t able to steal my mother n’ law’s hand bag. She had all her jewlery in there.

My sister n’ law woke on time, but because our house is well bolted, we couldn’t unlock it on time, in order to catch the thief. My brother n’ law had his gun ready, but the thief escaped on motor bike.

Thanks every one to leave your comments on my blog. That is the good lesson learned that i have to keep it in my mind and to be cautious as well. I now install metal window instead, because it is strong enough to protect thieves to break though my room. By the way, i need to prevent all of my family members as well.

What is important is that i lost all contact numbers saved in my phone.
